12/02/2004 | [Translation of the original French comment] Here is some data i grabbed from a pilot who had his Rumour 2 for sale. it needs to be checked:
stall speed: 31 kph
maximum speed: 95 kph
glide ratio: 11
drag chute recommended for landings

03/05/2007 | I still have both a Rumour 2 and a Rumour 3. The 2 has very good min. sink despite me being near the top of its weight range. Compared to the 3, it is not so sensitive in roll, but the K/P hang point makes it not too bad. Pitch sensitivity is high, but not unpleasantly so. Glide-on in ground effect is long, but landing without a drag chute is easily achievable. Performance at least as good as a Kiss, if not better.

25/01/2009 | I still fly a Rumour 2 (yesterday in fact) - it's a lovely wing. For some reason, I read the data off the certification on the keel during packing yesterday, and if I recall correctly it stated that the maximum pilot weight was 88kg, that stall speed was 13mph, with maximum speed 50mph. If I remember, I'll check (and photograph it) next time I fly and send it in to get the above data updated.

25/01/2009 | Oh, and there are 14 top battens (15 inc static one), 2 tip battens and 6 undersurface battens - 23 in total.
I think I might even have the original manual kicking around here somewhere, which I could scan and send if anyone wants it.
