Glide of the Sport 2 155 is approx 12/1 at max glide ratio speed of 51 Kph.
The glider has almost the same sail form as the Eagle except for the curved tips. It has aerofoil uprights and speed bar. All this with a VG make the sport 2 more performant than the Eagle, and in my opinion lighter in roll too. The glider lands best in nill wind with about a quarter to one third vg and lands beautifully. A great glider to progress to from the single surface sky floaters.
This glider has practically made the Eagle an unessisary step in the Wills Wing quiver of wings.

The Sport 2 was my first glider. After less than 15 hours of air time I moved to the Sport 2 and was pleased with the performance and handeling right off the bat. Very stable glider with easy and pradictable flight characteristics. My 6th aerotow was with the Sport2 with a fin and it was no harder than the begginers glider I was flying.

Wills Wing has set the new standard for Novice gliders with the Sport 2. Everyone is out copying this thing now. They took an Eagle and made it outglide an Ultrasport without losing any of it's friendly handling qualities. They've also obviously focused on aerotowing as it tows extremely well.

With 8 hours total time I move from a Falcon 1 170 to the Sport 2 155 directly. I found it actually easier to fly and more responsive. I love this glider.

With 16 hours of logged time I just moved up from a Falcon 2 to the Sport 2. I never heard of someone buying the Sport 2 and then being unhappy with it, and I can see why. Good performance yet easy to fly, the most logical intermediate between SS trainer to topless or rigid.

Hi everyone,

I bought a Sport 2 last year, and after a few bumpy flight during the spring season, I can give you some feedback.

I need to mention that I transited to the Sport 2 after 15 flights only, which had been done with a Medil / Mambo / Medium

I felt under control straight away, the glider is sensitive and goes where you want it to go. It gives a feeling of security and climbs well in thermals. Obviously, transitions are a bit sluggish compared to performance gliders and it can get boring at times (like with any glider of this kind). However, the small OD provides some significant extra speed.
Landing is the easiest it can get. Almost too easy. Very responsive glider, it gives plenty of feedback so the different phases of the landing procedure are very obvious: you are bound to land on your feet with this glider. At take-off, easy to handle and obvious to launch.

Haven't flown XC yet, so can't tell you much, but I intend to!

In a nutshell, an excellent intermediate glider. In par with Windigo, Fuji, Nuage, Space, Mambo

A +
