Great wing, easy take off and landings. I flight a 14.4 one and I weight only 65 kg, and it is true I become a little bit tired on thermalling, but no problem with general handling.

After 3 years flying a Mars 170 and 5 flights on XS i made 5 flights on a laminar 14R.
4 in thermal condition and one in pure constant wind soaring.
The wing is very stable and pleasant on first contact. Nothing to do with a XS. I needed one afternoon to fly slow and stabilise into the thermal.That's pleasant.
It's pretty easy to tighen and then flies pretty stable. During accelerations it' s the same, quite stable.
Landing is really cool: 30cm tighened it goes fast without stalling too early tho. Not tighened it seemed slower but still stable. A great wing i think.

I've bought a Laminar 13R, for a 1st flight, the wing felt lively compared to a classic double surface, tends to very quickly enter yaw with exagerated steering, but it becomes pleasant after a few minutes airborne, lands very well, in short a very performant and handy without much effort from what I felt, for experienced pilot though..
