Aile très équilibré sur tout les axes, et très agréables à voler.Elle possède un régime de vol très lent qui lui permet de très bien monter en thermique. J'ai été très surpris en bien par cette aile des années 90 avec de belles finition.

Seul bémol, elle est un peu lente pour inverser les virages, il faut bien anticiper lorsqu'on est près du relief.

Montage un peu spéciale avec l'étarquage a l'avant et un système de verrouillage sous le mats.

the first version of this glider had lot of problems .In the fist weeks there were more then 10 persons killed ...emergency parachute was not common at that time
so Finsterwalder had to change the construction
fortunatly i bought the Bicla Bergstar because the superfex was too expensive for me
so i survived
sorry for my bad english ...my language is german
also my spanish is very fine ...but french was allways a big problem

Had a Perfex since Years and I 'am only flying with Finsterwalder gliders. When I was broken a noose plate theclient service/posting was correct. I had twoMinifex M2 and that was also great gliders! In our club all the pilots loves my Perfex and want to aks for a little thermaling. I have tryed WWSport, Stin, Impuls IC, etc. The Perfex fits for my size and my style and never will be changed to another.

I cannot share the first comment: Got a Perfex since many years being VERY happy with it. Super light and very turnable, also the customer service is OK. Some body who wants a short-pack glider is good with Finsterwalder.

English Designed by Warren Bird with help from Bob Martin. I had the first production Shark and they were gradually de-tuned from then on to try to improve the handling. Amazing glide but it could lock into straight flight and it could be frightening. Once we put the spoilers on that helped. This was the first Delta to beat the Manta Fledgling when flown by Graeme Bird at the 1981 World Champs in Japan.
I put a British Tri-pacer trike, 330cc motor on mine and it made an impressive microlight. I flew it across Foveaux Strait in the first crossing by a microlight in 1981. It was an impressive machine, the sail was beautiful but the handling was horrifying at times. Sometimes it would turn and sometimes it wouldn't.

Français Aujourd'hui (6/9/2015) j'essayais ma nouvelle aile : un Z9 LAMINAR de chez ICARO2000
achetée à notre revendeur local AIR CONTROL 06.
J'ai décollé à 16h30 pour attendre des thermiques plus établis et plus doux.
Déco facile et ça monte de suite : je fais un grand 360 en repassant par le
déco!
Houaw !! Le pilotage est d'une facilité déconcertante! j'avais peur d'être
décontenancé après mon LITESPEEDS MOYES mais pas du tout! La vitesse mini est
plus haute mais à part ça c'est une merveille: L'aile réagit au 1/4 de poil et
au bout de 10 mn je l'ai parfaitement en main.
Je continue mon vol de prise en mains et je passe par Caussol(1700m) et le Pic
des Courmettes (1300m). Je fais un "glide" jusqu'à Pré Du Lac où j'arrive à 900m
mais je n'ose pas encore tendre l'overdrive à fond et dépasser les 100km car
l'aile à un énorme potentiel que je veux maîtriser tranquillou!
Entre le Pic des Courmettes et Pré du lac je file à 90km/h dans du -2m/s
Franchement, le Z9 est le sommum du pilotage! La classe italienne!

English I got a Magic 3 and a Magic 4 Full Race, both as 166 square footer. Incredible gliders for that time, of course in comparison to todays topless gliders incredibly slow also, but easy handling, extremely good climbing and lots of fun!

English I thoroughly enjoyed flying a loaned Ace 160 on several occasions & I reckon it facilitated faster climbing & easier handling than my similarly generous Solarwings Rumour 14.5m.
As I observed on more than one occasion, potentially there is a drawback to flying any glider that facilitates exceptionally easy handling enabling the pilot to really slow it down in order to take maximum advantage of the available potential climb rate & that drawback is that when you eventually inadvertently stall a wing typically as you move into a volume of the airmass where there has developed an overwise insignificant airflow sheer condition, if the glider does stall often the consequential spacial reorientation will be more severe requiring extra time & altitude in which to recover than a pilot who has become familiar with flying a succession of less obliging gliders would otherwise anticipate.

English Amazing old kite. I have a 1991 and a 1992. From someone who flew this thing right out of flight school I can tell you that it is very agile and predictable. I have felt extremely safe in ridge lift. I have heard the flare window is small, but this has not been my experience. She flies a bit faster than single surface, but the truncated wing tips don't stretch the sail tight enough for super performance. The kite flies slower with bar pulled in than a sport and the sail is loud AF. Which I love because it scares the PG's. Highest flight speeds are 73km/h No VG on this thing and that's awesome for pilots who need to get used to fly speeds that don't change. All in all, the kite is well designed and really didn't need to be changed much. Everyone loves this kite.
